Our Principles The principles of the United Lodge of Freemasonry for men and women, are predicated upon ancient ideals formed in ancient days, and its remnants passed down to us, through the holy books of the great religions, and great books of phiosophy and oral tradition. Through pre-history, Legend, and ancient history, there are universal truths, and principles that have expressed themselves, in the building of ancient civilisations which include, Ancient Egypt, Sumeria, Nubia, Chaldea, Greece, and Rome. The belief in the Supreme Being, as the creator of all material life and spirit, is central to our lodge and defines our priciples, and it is the true fasith in God, that is at the core of being a Freemason. We believe in the spirit of humankind, as creations of the supreme being, and see it as our duty to continue to improve, and use the gift of life that has been bestowed upon us. As such we see equality of all humankind, regardless of ethnicity colour or gender. This unity of purpose, and the desire to do good in our conduct, in our comportment and the desire to continually improve the self, uplift other breathren, and develop esoteric knowledge, so that we have the capability to assist different communities, and vulnerable people through philanthropic work, forms our core Masonic principles.
