Becoming a Freemason Becoming a Freemason, starts with Conversations. One of the tenets of Freemasonry for men and women, is that Freemasons are first made Masons in their hearts. It is at that point they seek out, and ask to join our Fraternity. Freemasonry, and its diciplines, helps to forge you into a better person. Every individual, brings something novel into the Order, and each member shares a set of common beliefs and values, which every member can by their actions help make the world, the community and themselves better. Membership of our order, is a choice, and you must want to be a member, of your own free will, and because you have a deep desire to learn, and also add to our body of knowledge. There are a list of some core criteria, that we require for you to be considred for membership, which are listed below : • Be a man or woman aged 21 or older. • Believe in a Supreme Being • Believe in the immortality of the soul • Live an ethical life • Have a strong interest in the Fraternity with a desire to participate in our charities & activities. In addition to this, an application fee is also required, followed by a background investigation on all applicants. We want those who ultimately want to do good, and become better as members of our fraternity. We offer you support, and a framework to help push you towards a life of development of spiritual faculties, discipline, success, increased scholarship, and a sense of real family.
